Terms of Use
Last updated: 21 July 2026
Welcome to NetPeek. NetPeek is an on-device network capture and debugging tool for developers to perform lawful debugging, testing, troubleshooting, and security assessment.
NetPeek is a technical debugging product, not a public VPN relay or a service designed to circumvent network restrictions. By downloading, installing, using, signing in, or purchasing NetPeek, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you accept on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
1. License and authorized use
Subject to these Terms and applicable law, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use NetPeek on devices you own or lawfully control. The software is licensed, not sold; intellectual property remains with NetPeek and/or its licensors.
Use capture, decryption, rewrite, scripting, replay, and related features only on devices, accounts, apps, and traffic that you own or are expressly authorized to inspect, and ensure that:
- your use complies with applicable laws, regulations, and professional obligations;
- you do not infringe others’ privacy, trade secrets, communications secrecy, or other rights;
- in enterprise or client environments, you have obtained any required authorization; and
- paid seats and subscriptions are used only within the authorized scope—accounts and device seats must not be shared to bypass limits.
Unauthorized interception, decryption, or modification of others’ communications may be unlawful. You are fully responsible for how you use the App.
2. HTTPS decryption (optional)
Viewing HTTPS plaintext is an optional on-device debugging capability. Before it works, you typically need to enable the feature and target hosts in the App, install and trust a certificate generated on your device, and start capture. Without the trust steps required by the system, HTTPS traffic is not decrypted to plaintext.
Certificate materials remain on your device for local debugging and are not uploaded by us. Decrypted content stays on-device by default; protect the device and any exported files.
3. Accounts and sync (optional)
Signing in is optional. Core on-device capture works while signed out. If you sign in:
- we process account identifiers and session information for account features;
- we may register and manage device authorization for entitlements and abuse prevention;
- your rules, constants, rule groups, scripts, and similar configuration may sync across your devices through NetPeek's encrypted backend within the scope you authorize; and
- capture records and request/response bodies are never synced through your account.
You are responsible for activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized use, contact support in the App and, where possible, reset credentials or remove devices. We may restrict features when we reasonably believe there is theft, abuse, or a violation of these Terms.
4. Subscriptions and in-app purchases
Some advanced features are offered through Apple App Store in-app purchases or subscriptions. Price, benefits, and descriptions are shown in the App and on the App Store.
- Subscriptions typically renew automatically unless you cancel according to Apple’s rules;
- manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or in your App Store account settings;
- payment, refunds, and taxes are handled by Apple; we do not store your payment card details; and
- we receive subscription/entitlement status only to unlock features.
Trials and preview features may be incomplete or change at any time; use them at your own risk. Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis and is not a fixed response-time commitment unless agreed in writing.
5. Acceptable use
You must not, and must not permit anyone else to:
- intercept, decrypt, alter, or replay communications without authorization;
- use the App to attack or disrupt systems without permission, distribute malware, evade access controls, or engage in unlawful or infringing activity;
- crack or bypass subscription, seat, or other technical protections, except where mandatory law allows;
- share or resell accounts or device seats beyond the entitlement; forge device information; or abuse restore flows;
- abuse optional local-network debugging interfaces, or access another person’s device data without authorization; or
- rely on the App as a sole safety control in high-risk environments where failure could cause serious harm.
You are responsible for scripts, rules, and replay content you create or import, and for their effects. Rewrite, scripting, and replay may change app behavior—use them only in appropriate test and debug scenarios.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App, documentation, updates, and support are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.
To the extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business interruption arising from use or inability to use the App. We are not responsible for your relationship with third-party services (such as the App Store, iCloud, your upstream services, or third-party clients you connect). Liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law remains unaffected.
7. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms and publish the revised version in the App with an updated date. For material changes we may also provide in-app notice. Updates apply prospectively; continued use constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the App and uninstall it.
You may delete local data, disable capture and optional features, or delete your account (if signed in) at any time. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the User Agreement form the entire agreement regarding the software (unless a separate written agreement applies). If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. You may not assign your rights without consent; we may assign them in a merger, acquisition, or similar event.
For questions, contact us through the support option in the App.
